The Breastfeeding Centre - Suite 3/71 Robinson Street Dandenong
The Australian Breastfeeding Association Victorian Branch
runs the Breastfeeding Centre in Dandenong!
The first such centre, this is a place where women can hang out, learn about breastfeeding, support
other breastfeeding mothers and access the range of services provided by the
Australian Breastfeeding Association.
Open - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10am - 4pm Babies and
children very welcome!
What's On?

Wednesdays are Drop In
Days! Visit any time that suits you between 10.30am and 3.30pm - come
for an hour or come for the day! Informal gatherings over morning tea and
lunch, plus help with breastfeeding challenges for those who need it. Safe
and kid-friendly, with toys for babies and toddlers, a comfortable baby care
room for nappy changes, free tea and coffee and full access to our library,
video collection, back issues of Essence magazine and more!

Breast Pumps! A
range of pumps for sale and hire are
available at the Centre during our normal trading hours - please phone 9791
4644 to arrange a convenient time to visit.

Breastfeeding Education
Classes! Conveniently located in Melbourne's south east, only two
minutes from Eastlink. Classes held regularly at the Centre, see our

Having twins or more?
Breastfeeding Education Classes just for those expecting multiple births
are now being held at our centre. Numbers are limited, so book early! see

Breastfeeding Basics!
If you are breastfeeding, planning to or work with breastfeeding women in
the community, then come along to one of our informal breastfeeding
workshops. Held bi-monthly at the Breastfeeding Centre, these sessions are a
great way to learn more about how breastfeeding works and the general
management of common situations and challenges. Limited places. Starting
January 2010

Mothers Groups! Many
of our local groups meet at the centre. They welcome you to come along and
take part in their discussion or social gathering.
